If you're having a hard time defeating your opponent's powerful Pokémon, Chilling Reign's Weavile and its fellow Rapid Strike Pokémon can help you out!

Weavile has a move which describes the strategy very well: Two Hit KO. This 1 Energy attack itself doesn't do any damage to your opponent's active Pokémon, however it is knocked out during the next turn if it's damaged by an attack from a Rapid Strike Pokémon. The retreat cost of Weavile is only 1, which is great for reusing this strategy. During your next turn you can retreat Weavile and replace it with another Rapid Strike Pokémon which is ready to attack.

A perfect combo can be made with Chilling Reign's Rapid Strike Drizzile. At first glance Drizzle doesn't look very impressive, but since it deals 40 damage points with its 2 Energy Bounce attack, it will knock out your opponent's Pokémon. Drizzile is particularly useful combined with Weavile's Two Hit KO, because Bounce allows you to switch Weavile back as active Pokémon and repeat this strategy.

Other Rapid Strike Pokémon that can be used in this strategy, because they have a retreat cost of only 1 are Evolving Skies's Marshadow, and from the Fusion Strike expension: Staryu, Basculin and Hawlucha. Fusion Strike's Kangashkan and Shellder and its evolutions have 2 retreat cost.

• Chilling Reign's Brawly allows to search up to 3 Basic Rapid Strike Pokémon.
• Chilling Reign's Klara can help you reuse this strategy after critical Pokémon have been defeated. She allows you to put up to 2 Pokémon from your discard pile into your hand.
• Evolving Skies's Rescue Carrier does this in a similar way but only for Pokémon up to 90 HP.
• Sword and Shield Base Set's Poké Kid can help you get your hands on the evolution cards you need for this strategy.
• XY Fates Collide's Pokémon Fan Club is useful to get Chilling Reign's Sneasel and Sobble into your hand.
• XY Roaring Skies's Steven can increase the odds of getting the right trainer cards and gives you an energy card which is useful because of all the discarded Energy cards as a consequence of this strategy.

• Chilling Reign's Siebold heals 60 damage from up to 2 Rapid Strike Pokémon.
• Chilling Reign's Spiral Energy can only be attached to Rapid Strike Pokémon, but they can't be Paralyzed or it removes the Paralyzed condition from them.
